Self-portrait Saturday

It's another Self-portrait Saturday and I'm linking up with Dana from The Wonder Forest and her co-host Heather of Just Lovely Things.  This week didn't have a theme, though Dana suggested white if you wanted to work with one.  I figured that I was white enough to meet the theme and headed out to the deck to experiment with my self-timer.  This is also the first time that I've shot any self-portrait outside.  One thing I've learned from my short time in the blogging world is that natural light rocks.  Everyone loves it.  So it's only seemed fitting that I got outside and shot some pics.

These were my four favorites from the week.  Despite not being in focus at all, the last one kind of tugged at me.  I like it, though I'm not sure what draws me to it.  Hope you enjoyed the pics and head over to The Wonder Forest if you want to link up!

  1. Hey, stopping by from The Self Portrait link up! :) I like all your portraits. :) My fav is the second one. Im not sure why, but I am drawn to unusually cropped photos. I guess it helps you focus on other features aside from the eyes, which we are most drawn to in a picture. I too usually feel drawn to blurry out of focus pictures. Not sure why either... just something about them seems interesting. :)
